FL 27 Update and Installation Guide

Install SP Football Life 2027 from its separate multi-part installer, then check the official page for maintenance updates.

SP Football Life 2027 installs as its own game. You do not need an earlier Football Life release, PES, or eFootball installation, and the official instructions say not to install FL 27 over an existing game. For a clean setup, download every installer part, extract the files, run the setup program, and choose a separate destination folder.

Before downloading

Check the official SP Football Life 2027 page for the current release information and download links. The page lists version 1.00, dated October 31, 2026, for the 2026/27 season. Use the links published there rather than old mirrors copied into forum posts.

Make sure you have enough free disk space for the downloaded parts and the installed game. Keep all parts together in one folder: the official installation instructions require the complete set before extraction. The page recommends WinRAR for extracting the installer. If you already have it installed, you can use it; otherwise, obtain it from its official publisher.

Install FL 27

  1. Download every part from one of the mirrors linked on the official page. Do not stop after part one.
  2. Put all downloaded parts in the same folder. If a download stopped early, finish it before extracting; an incomplete part can prevent extraction.
  3. Use WinRAR to extract the installer files.
  4. Run SPFL27_setup.exe and choose a new installation directory. Do not point it at an existing Football Life folder.
  5. When setup finishes, start the game with FL_2027 start.exe or the desktop shortcut created by the installer.

The installer is independent of older PES and Football Life versions. You can keep those games installed in separate folders if you still use them; FL 27 does not require them as a base.

Keep the installation current

SmokePatch says FL 27 will receive maintenance releases as needed, including bug fixes, database additions, and transfer corrections. Check the official FL 27 page when you want to know whether an update has been announced and which files it applies to. Read the release instructions before changing files in an existing installation, and keep a separate copy of saves you care about before making major changes.

Do not assume that an update for an older Football Life version applies to FL 27. Confirm the named version and installation instructions on the release page first. If the page does not describe an update as an in-place patch, avoid applying it over your game folder.

If extraction or setup fails

First confirm that every installer part finished downloading and that all parts are in the same folder. Re-download any part that is incomplete or reports an extraction error, then extract the full set again. If setup cannot write to the selected location, choose a folder where your Windows account has permission to install files. For unresolved problems, consult SmokePatch support and include the exact error message when asking for help.
